After starring in two successful network shows- ‘Mad Men’ and ‘Community’, Alison Brie has decided to shift gears in favor a new Netflix original animated series.. Brie has lent her voice to animation before with the blockbuster hit, ‘The Lego Movie’ and, as of last week, plans to put her voice acting skills to the test once again with Netflix’s ‘BoJack Horseman’.

“Well, it’s two for the price of one. I love Netflix and I love Netflix shows, but this came to me as a package,” Allison Brie said, explaining how she got involved with’ BoJack Horseman’, “I actually came in late and it all happened very quickly. They had already recorded a number of episodes with the cast and one night I got sent five scripts. I thought the scripts were hilarious and you can’t ask for a better cast, so I just got on board.”

Joining her on ‘BoJack Horseman’ will be ‘Breaking Bad’ star Aaron Paul. Are Paul and Brie upset over the conclusion of their respective AMC series’ (‘Breaking Bad’ and ‘Mad Men’)? It doesn’t seem so.

Brie said, “We did not. We didn’t share that moment. But I feel like because of a Netflix, these shows get to live on these days, which is a really cool thing.”

With both ‘Community’ and ‘Mad Men’ coming to a close, Brie only seems to be keeping herself occupied. In fact, the actress let it be known that she was just, “trying to move forward” in the face of the imminent TV series conclusions.

“…I just wrapped a couple of different movies and I’m executive producing a pilot for TV Land that’s being made right now. Also, ‘Community’ is maybe coming back around for Yahoo,” she told Leaderpost.

But even so, Brie’s return to ‘Community’ for it’s recently renewed sixth season is quite ambiguous. There doesn’t seem to be any real proof that she will be joining the cast of season six at all.

“…I think the whole thing is just still in the works right now. It’s hard to get real details from anyone just yet,” is what she had to say about the matter.
