Amy Schumer's Interview With a 106-Year-Old Woman is Priceless [VIDEO]

On Tuesday night’s Inside Amy Schumer, comedienne Amy Shumer gets personal with a 106 year-old senior citizen, Downing, on the Amy Goes Deep segment of the show. The funniest part about the entire segment is Downing’s no-nonsense attitude that she employs to blatantly ignore Schumer’s comedic prompts.

“What’s your favourite part about being a hundred?” Schumer asks right off the bat, not before adding, “No condoms right?”

Downing ignores the comment at her sexuality and innocently answers with something about appreciating every day because “the end is near”. If that doesn’t give you an indication of how the rest of the interview went, then we don’t know what will.

Schumer touches on a few more interesting questions before they finally get to an important fact: they both attended the same University, despite their 73 year difference. However, these two women probably didn’t go to school for the same reason.

“I went to Towson because when I visited I won a drinking contest,” reveals Amy Schumer and her interviewee has only one response, “Oh wonderful.”

As the interview progresses, we learn a lot about Downing, like the fact that she didn’t wear a pair of pants until World War II. Other important facts we learn include her opinion about racism.

“I have learned over the years to have some of my very good friends to be… uh…” Downing pauses for a fair amount of time before finishing, “…black. That’s not the word, but anyway.”

However, the last bit of the interview is what you should definitely see because, when Downing’s reveals her fear of young people “overindulging” themselves with alcohol during the prohibition years and Schumer quips, “You would have been very concerned about me”, Downing’s reaction is simply priceless.
