Belgian Activists Pour Fake Blood at Airport in Protest of Israel

Over the course of the summer, we’ve heard several instances of anti-Zionism and anti-Semitism taking place in Belgium, which, like much of Europe, has been home to an increasing number residents who harbor an anti-Israel mentality.

There was the tragic Jewish museum shooting were four were killed, the cafe that posted a sign that read “No Jews Allowed,” the Belgian doctor refusing to treat a Jewish patient, etc.

Now, in perhaps the strangest story to leak from the area, we’ve learned (courtesy of RT news site) that six members of a Belgian women’s rights movement – a group called Lilith – have been detained by police over the weekend, after pouring approximately 25 gallons of fake blood onto the floor of the airport in Liege in an apparent protest against the airport.

According to the feminist group, this particular Belgian airport is being used to transport arms to Israel. A preposterous notion? I’d say so, but you never know where they get their intel from.

The women wore t-shirts depicting the colors of the Palestinian flag, waving a banner that read “How many tons of weapons for so many liters of blood?”

They’ve since been detained by police. Liege airport has confirmed that they will file a complaint against the group.

A spokeswoman for the airport reiterated that the airport is in fact NOT being used to transport arms and weapons to Israel. You know, just in case anyone else was thinking of arriving at the airport with more gallons of fake blood.

“This is an unfounded rumor you hear every time there is a spike in the Israeli-Palestinian conflict,” the spokeswoman said.

It seems the members of Lilith may have been reading a bit too much propaganda, or perhaps too many satirical news sources without knowing that they’re satirical.
