If you’ve seen X:Men Days of Future Past, then you likely stayed past the end-credits, as EVERYBODY knows that Marvel films always leave a little something extra for those die-hard fans who are willing to stay the extra few minutes.

And for this most recent X-Men film (arguably the best in the franchise) the reward came in the form of a teaser of X-Men: Apocalypse, the sequel to the film which is set to hit theaters in 2016.

It wasn’t much, but it managed to depict the “Four Horsemen” and a form of the powerful mutant Apocalypse, the oldest and most feared in the X-Men universe.

Now, director/producer Bryan Singer has launched his own Instagram account, sharing with the world a little preview of the new film via the first page of the treatment for X-Men: Apocalypse (see below).

The page references the Nile (where Apocalypse was born), and also the horsemen. And while Singer hasn’t confirmed yet whether or not he will be directing the new film, it appears that his influence will certainly be felt regardless.
