Apple to Open R&D Center in Herzliya, Israel
The R&D center would become Apple's first such facility outside of California, and would join other tech titans such as Intel who currently have R&D centers in Israel's version of Silicon Valley, Herzliya.
According to reports, Apple has already hired Israeli high-tech veteran Aharon Aharon to run the center.
Earlier in the week Shalom Life reported on Apple's possible purchase of Anobit, an Israeli high-tech company, for a reported $400-$500 million.
It seems that Apple has realized what the rest of the tech world has known for years; Israel knows technology.
