SpongeBob Squarepants Restaurant Opening in West Bank

The wait for a Krabby Patty is over!

At least, for residents of the West Bank in Palestinian Territories it is.

According to reports by the International Business Times, a Palestinian company called Salta Burgers is opening a SpongeBob Squarepants restaurant in Ramallah, reportedly without permission.

As we all know, the Krusty Krab is the fictional fast food restaurant where cartoon icon SpongeBob Squarepants works as a fry cook. For the past 15 years, the Nickelodeon television show has been tempting it's characters and viewers alike with delicious (underwater) hamburgers.

The franchise has also released a full-length feature film.

Reports claim that Salta Burgers have already began construction on an exact replica of the cartoon restaurant in Ramallah, though no word of what their menu will consist of yet.

There is also no confirmed opening date. However, according to the Krusty Krab Facebook page, hiring has already started.

We're assuming being a yellow sponge is not in the job description.
