CEO of Oracle Named by Forbes as World’s Richest Jew

When one thinks about not only the world’s richest individuals, but the richest Jewish individuals specifically, the name Mark Zuckerberg, the guy who started some little social media idea known as Facebook, probably comes to mind.

Surprisingly, Zuckerberg ranks as just the world’s 16th richest Member of the Tribe by Forbes Israel, which has also identified approximately 165 of the world’s billionaires who have a Jewish heritage, and a combined wealth of more than $800 billion.

Of course, as we remember, Zuckerberg saw his net worth plummet to “only” $13.3 billion after an unsuccessful share launch. Still, we won’t have to hold any garage sales to help Mark as Facebook is still the leader in the world of social media.

The top three richest Jews are Larry Ellison, the CEO of technology titan Oracle, with a net worth of $43 billion, followed by New York Mayor Michael Bloomberg who comes in with a paltry net worth of $27 billion – and we know he doesn’t waste any of his fortune on sugary drinks – and then comes casino magnate, Sheldon Adelson who weighs in at $26.5 billion.

The Founders of Google – Larry Page and Sergey Brin – also made the Forbes Israel Top Ten list, with a net worth of over $22 billion each.
