iPhone Launches Kosher Database
It may not be the first iPhone app for kosher finders, but it is the largest database of them all. Get Kosher - The Kosher Restaurant Finder has a database of more than 8,000 places that offer kosher options. Released in late March, Get Kosher features different restaurants from over 50 countries and regularly receives updates from volunteers worldwide.
The Apple Store also sells other apps that cater to those who have special diets. Among them are the Vegetarian Scanner, the Halal Scanner and iEat Out Gluten & Allergen Free.
