Inarguably one of the most interesting (and mysterious) bands of the decade, Secret Chiefs 3 have acquired an audience around the globe. It’s nearly impossible to classify the band and their sound, but there is an undeniable Jewish influence that has appeared throughout their work look no further than their collaborative album with John Zorn, Xaphan: Book of Angels Vol. 9.

Last week, the official Facebook fan page for SC3 announced their latest international touring schedule. This journey will see the band perform in such places as Germany, Austria, Turkey, Romania, Bulgaria, and to much delight, Tel Aviv in Israel!

Within the thread of comments that followed the announcement of the gigs, SC3 responded to the overwhelming response to the Israel show with “[T]he promoter in Israel is great.” They continued, “Believe me we're as thrilled as you guys are!”

The date has yet to be specified.
