Brian Goldenberg, artistic producer of Angelwalk Theatre (Altar Boyz, The Last Five Years), is bringing his original musical Seven of Us to the Toronto Fringe Festival in July, where it will receive its Toronto premiere.

Seven of Us was written by Goldenberg and Jean-Paul Yovanoff and follows seven friends and their relationships. When Rob returns home from university to spend the summer with his friends, a sudden death immediately throws everyone a curve. Relationships are tested, and Rob and his friends soon come to realize what is truly important to them.

The musical will be directed by Dayna Chernoff, who served as one of the directors on the original 2004 production. Seven of Us was originally conceived as a graduating high school music project, and premiered in July 2004 at the Markham Theatre for Performing Arts.

The Toronto Fringe Festival runs June 30-July 11, 2010. For more information visit www.sevenofus.ca or www.fringetoronto.com.
