According to the daily newspaper Israel Hayom, American actor Leonardo DiCaprio is looking to build a house in Israel.

Citing associates of DiCaprio, the report stated that the actor, who is also the boyfriend of Israeli supermodel Bar Refaeli, wishes to buy a plot of land on which to build a house that will serve as his base during visits to Israel.

DiCaprio is apparently considering land in the southern part of the country. If he doesn’t find something to his taste there, he will look at land in the north. He is reportedly not considering building a home in the central part of the country, where Refaeli's family currently lives.

DiCaprio, Refaeli, Dicaprio's mother and "Entourage" actor Kevin Connolly arrived in Israel on Sunday night for a week-long visit, part of DiCaprio's 36th birthday celebrations.

Also according to Israel Hayom, DiCaprio, Refaeli and Refaeli's father had apparently visited Caesarea on Monday.

The Israel Hayom report also cited rumours of a future wedding between DiCaprio and Refaeli, though for now they are just that – rumours.
