Chicken and Potatoes with Oyster Sauce
A standard staple supper in many Mediterranean homes with an added Asian flavour.
14-16 Chicken drumsticks
6-8 yellow Potatoes
1 Onion, coarsely chopped
6 tablespoons Oyster sauce
1 tablespoon Garlic Powder
1/4 cup Soy sauce
1 tablespoon ground black Pepper
poppy seeds for garnish
Preheat oven to 400 degrees F (200 degrees C).
Mix all the ingredients together in a large bowl. Place chicken in a large baking dish and sprinkle the onion over the chicken. Push potatoes down into the spaces between the chicken pieces and around the edge of the dish.
Bake for 1 hour, until the chicken is crisp and brown and the potatoes are tender. Sprinkle with poppy seeds, if desired, and serve hot.For more great recipes go to www.BaldManRecipes.com
