Hollywood Celebs Design Dog Bowls for Charity

Paula Abdul, Chelsea Handler, and Ellen team up with PAWS/LA to raise money for people and their beloved pets

PAWS/LA has teamed up with a dozen celebrity animal lovers to create one-of-a-kind dog bowls. The collectible pieces of “Pup Art” were hand-painted and signed by the celebs themselves as part of PAWS/LA’s “Bowl Project 2011”. The doggie dishes will be sold exclusively through an online auction, with all proceeds benfiting PAWS/LA’s programs and services.

The second annual “Bowl Project” auction includes personally painted bowls from popular celebrities including Paula Abdul, Chelsea Handler, Ellen DeGeneres, Betty White, Jessica Simpson, Jan Lynch, Kate Walsh, and Boo Boo Stewart.

PAWS/LA is a non-profit organization based in Los Angeles that aids both low-income elderly and terminally ill people in their effort to keep and care for their pets. The organization has a dedicated team of volunteers that is committed to keeping pets and people together through comprehensive free services, including vet care, grooming, dog walking, pet food an supplies.
