Rebecca Black, Amy Winehouse, and Bieber top Google’s Most Searched
Google released their 2011 Zeitgeist List
Google has just released their annual Zeitgeist Search list for 2011. I have to say the results are not surprising at all.
Rebecca Black and her “Friday” video topped the Top 10 list of “Fastest Rising Searches of 2011” followed by Google+ and Hurricane Irene in second and third. iPhone 5, Casey Anthony, and Steve Jobs also made the Top 10.
It is absolutely no shock that Justin Bieber, Kim Kardashian, and Lady Gaga (in that order) were the three “Most Popular People”. Bieber’s girlfriend Selena Gomez came in at number 6, followed by Charlie Sheen, Steve Jobs, and Amy Winehouse.
“Planking” topped the “Google Images Fastest Rising Searches” list, followed by Kate Upton, Justin Bieber 2011, Pippa Middleton, and Hope Solo. Rebecca Black came in at number 8.
