Scooter Braun to Bieberize British Boy Band
Scooter Braun is credited for discovering Justin Bieber. His choices, connections, and determination transformed Bieber from a small-town Canadian kid busking outside local theatres to the world’s biggest pop icon. Although Braun represents a few other acts, his focus until now has been Bieber. Will that change now that the manager has discovered Britain’s The Wanted?
U.K boy band, The Wanted, opened for Justin Bieber in both South America and Britain. The teens already have a loyal fan base overseas, but do they have what it takes to break into the American market? Scooter Braun seems to think so. He has expressed interest in becoming their U.S manager.
Braun helped organize The Wanted’s recent appearance on the Ellen DeGeneres Show, and reportedly helped promote their current U.S tour.
Will The Wanted accept Braun’s offer to manage? Will Braun be able to create the same fanaticism around 5 English boys that he did around one sincere Canadian tween?
"Scooter is always on the lookout for the next big thing," a source told The Sun.
"It's just an instinct thing but if he's backing them, there's every chance they could do well in the States."
