Natalie Portman has officially signed on for her first two roles since taking maternity leave after giving birth to son, Aleph.

Portman has joined the cast of Malick’s Knight Of The Cups and Lawless. Knight Of The Cups begins shooting this summer and also stars Christian Bale and Cate Blanchett. Lawless shoots immediately afterwards in the fall and stars Ryan Gosling, Christian Bale (again), Cate Blanchett (again), and Rooney Mara.

This marks Portman’s first time acting in a Terrence Malick production.

Terrence Malick’s Tree of Life is currently nominated for Best Picture at the Academy Awards.
