Amar’e Stoudemire Gets Teardrop Tattoo in Memory of Brother

The Knicks star returned after a four game leave sporting a tear drop tattoo in memory of his late brother

Amar’e Stoudemire returned to the Knicks last night after a four game leave to mourn the loss of his brother, Hazell Stoudemire Jr.

Hazell Stoudemire Jr. died unexpectedly in a car crash on February 6th. In memory of his late brother, Amar’e returned to the court last night with a small teardrop tattooed under his eye.

Amar’e dedicated the game to his brother, finishing with 21 points and 9 rebounds.

After the fourth-quarter comeback win, Amar’e tweeted a dedication to his brother.

“That game was for you Bra (Hazell Stoudemire Jr.) forever crying inside. Love You!”
