Arrested Development star, David Cross, recently admitted that while attending the annual White House Correspondents Dinner, he snorted cocaine 65 feet away from President Obama.

“I ducked under the table and did it. It wasn’t like I got high. The jolt was similar to licking an empty espresso cup. It wasn't about that. It was just about being able to say that I did it, that I did cocaine in the same room as the President," Cross shares in an interview for next month’s Playboy.

The White House Correspondents Dinner is an annual event hosted by comedians. Previous hosts have included Seth Rogen and Stephen Colbert. Typically, the President gives a joke-riddled speech poking fun at opponents.

Cross admits that he chose to do the cocaine to win a bet with a friend. Although he doesn’t regret the act, he does feel bad about getting girlfriend, Amber Tamblyn, involved.

“I was her date, her plus-one, and she got dragged through the mud because of what I did,” the actor said. “She had nothing to do with it. She didn’t know I was going to do it. And because of that, she’ll never be invited to the White House again. That’s not cool.”
