Dianna Agron Loses Out to AnnaSophia Robb

AnnaSophia Robb has officially been cast in the role of young Carrie Bradshaw in the upcoming CW series, ‘The Carrie Diaries’.

‘The Carrie Diaries’ is based upon Candace Bushnell’s best-selling novel following ‘Sex and the City’s’ Carrie Bradshaw during her high school years in the ‘80’s.

After CW announced picking up the show, many young blonde actresses were being considered for the role. The front runners included ‘Glee’s’ Dianna Agron and ‘Gossip Girl’s’ Blake Lively.

Robb is best known for her roles in ‘Charlie and the Chocolate Factory’, ‘Bridge to Teribithia’, and ‘Race to Witch Mountain.’

Stefania Owen from ‘Running Wilde’ has also been cast to portray Carrie’s young sister, Dorrit.

What do you think of the decision to cast Robb? Who you do think would have made a better Carrie?
