Amanda Bynes Flees Cops, Faces Legal Action

Hairspray star, Amanda Bynes, faces legal action after driving away from the police officer that pulled her over for a traffic violation on Wednesday in Los Angeles.

The actress was caught talking on her cell phone while driving, and was pulled over. The police officer approached Bynes, collected her information, and then returned to his vehicle to write up her ticket. Apparently, he was taking longer than she saw fit… because she decided to drive away before the cop returned with the citation.

Since the police officer had already collected all of her information, he decided not to pursue the actress because he did not consider her a threat to herself or society. Bynes later stopped by the police station to pick up her citation.

According to TMZ, Bynes might still face legal action for prematurely leaving the scene of the crime.
