New Trailer: Watch Joseph Gordon-Levitt in 'Looper'

The trailer for Looper -- Joseph Gordon-Levitt’s latest film -- has just been released. And it looks like the Rian Johnson-helmed movie is going to be quite an action-packed thriller.

Looper tells the story of a hit man (played by Gordon-Levitt) who uses time travel to his advantage. But things get a little complicated when he’s asked to kill a specific person: an older version of himself (Bruce Willis).

According to the Los Angeles Times, Gordon-Levitt had to endure three hours of putting on makeup in order to play a younger version of Willis.

Although Willis has years of experience with action flicks, Gordon-Levitt is no rookie when it comes to thrillers. His supporting role in the 2010 megahit Inception made the 31-year-old actor a recognizable face around the world. The Golden Globe-nominated actor is also co-starring in the highly anticipated Batman sequel The Dark Knight Rises, which will be released later this year.

Catch the trailer for Looper below.
