Shalom Life's Bachelor 2012

Shalom Life is proud to present our first annual Bachelor competition. We at Shalom Life are big fans of ABC’s The Bachelor, but there’s one thing we have that ABC doesn’t… a Hebrew Hunk and a free trip to Israel.

Are you tired of mismatched blind dates arranged by your married friends, or even worse- your mother? Do you need a break from dating sites and singles events? Shalom Life, UJA Community Connect, and El Al Airlines have joined forces to facilitate the meeting of potential soul mates.

I’m sure all you ladies have a lot of questions at this point. Don’t worry. No, It’s not difficult to apply. Yes, he’s very handsome and a great guy. And yes, your free trip to Israel includes him.

If these short answers didn’t satisfy your questions, here’s a clearer explanation.

How do I meet, date, and perhaps fall in love with your Jewish gentleman?

If you live in Toronto, Canada, just fill in the application form on this page between April 16th-May 4th.

What happens if I’m selected?

Professional matchmaker Alison Green and our Bachelor will choose 20 women from all the submissions to do a quick ‘meet and greet’ with. Based on chemistry, interests, values, and common goals, Alison and our Bachelor will narrow the initial 20 down to 7.

What if I’m in the 7?

The Top 7 will go on individual (partially filmed) dates with our Bachelor, later posted on our website www.shalomlife.com. These dates will be viewed and voted on by the public, allowing our readers to determine which couples have the best chemistry. Our bachelor will make the ultimate decision, dropping the top 7 down to 3.

What if I’m in the Top 3?

Now I think you’re getting a little ahead of yourself, but hypothetically you would get to go on a more intimate date with our Bachelor. After these three dates, our Bachelor will choose his lucky lady.

What if I’m the lucky lady?

You and our Bachelor will go on an all-expenses paid “get to know you better” trip to Israel, courtesy of Shalom Life, UJA’s Community Connect, and El Al Airlines.

Now, the biggest question of them all. Who is this Bachelor?

Nathaniel is a Tall, Dark & Jewish “catch” living in Toronto. He is the perfect combination of kind, ambitious, involved, dedicated, passionate, spontaneous, and successful. Nathaniel is seeking an intrinsically good person who values family, Jewish tradition, and romance. Sound too good to be true? Watch Nathaniel’s intro teaser clip below:

So if you’re Jewish, single, adventurous, camera-friendly, in your 20’s or 30’s, and looking for love, click here to apply.
