Food trucks are popping up in every major North America city by the second. There’s no reason why everyone shouldn’t be able to participate in the trend.

Shalom Life has compiled a list of the 10 best gourmet-mobiles that serve Kosher (or Kosher-style) delicacies.

Food Truck: K-Wheelz

Location: Dallas, Texas

What they serve: Burrito Schmuritos- traditional burritos made adhering to strict kosher law, using Daiya dairy-free cheese.


Food Truck: Max & David’s

Location: Philadelphia, Pennsylvania

What they serve: Gourmet kosher fare- burgers, beef brisket, fries, dairy-free gelato and shakes.


Food Truck: Takosher

Location: Los Angeles, California

What they serve: Kosher Tacos- a beautiful melding of Mexican and Kosher cuisine, Takosher is the first Glatt kosher certified food truck in LA, selling a selection of tacos from ‘The Original Brisketaco” to “The Original Latketaco”.


Food Truck: Schnitzel Wagon

Location: Los Angeles, California

What they serve: You guessed it- Schnitzel (Chicken, Beef, Veal & Veggie). They also have yummy burgers, hot dogs, falafels, potato salad, and coleslaw.


Food Truck: Sixth & Rye

Location: Washington, DC

What they serve: Sixth & Rye is Spike Mendelsohn’s (Top Chef) Fully kosher certified food truck serving corned beef sandwiches or grilled veggie wraps with a signature crunchy pickle on the side. They are serve classics like coleslaw, challah, and black & white cookies.
