Bart Simpson’s Jewish Exes Returning to the Show

Bart Simpson has dated many lovely ladies over the years, and Fox has confirmed to TheWrap that many of them will return in next season ‘Moonshine River’ episode.

In ‘Moonshine River’, 10-year-old Bart Simpson finds himself pondering his love life and wondering if he let the love of his life slip away. Zooey Deschanel, Natalie Portman, Anne Hathaway, Sarah Michelle Gellar, and Sarah Silverman will all return for the episode.

Natalie Portman will return as Darcy from Season 18, Sarah Michelle Gellar as Gina from season 15, and Sarah Silverman as Nikki from season 21.

"It was a way to acknowledge that for a 10-year-old boy, Bart has gotten a lot of action," Tim Long, ‘Simpsons’ consulting producer and writer, told EW.com.

“We thought it might be fun to borrow/pay homage to/steal an idea from 'High Fidelity' and have him go on a romantic pilgrimage and visit the girls that he dated and try to figure out how the hell he screwed things up with each of them. I don’t want to give away too much, but he realizes that maybe there’s something wrong with him after all."

After revisiting with all of his exes, Bart will travel to New York to find Mary (Zooey Dechanel), the girl he almost married in season 19.

Other guest stars scheduled for next season are Steve Carell, Fred Armisen, Carrie Brownstein, Jennifer Tilly, Joe Mantegna, and Anika Noni Rose.
