Adorable Kids Honor Beastie Boys' Adam Yauch With ‘Sabotage’ Re-enactment

Celebrities and fans around the world are still mourning the loss of the brilliant, Adam Yauch. Many people have issued tributes in the form of letters, video messages, tweets, and photos. But so far, nothing compares to the latest viral video featuring a group of kids re-enacting the hip hop groups’ classic ‘Sabotage’ video.

Spike Jonze’s ‘Sabotage’ video is considered by many to be one of the greatest music videos of all time. If you somehow missed it over the last 18 years, it features the band dressed up like characters from a cheesy 1970’s cop show- horrible moustaches, wigs, action sequences and all.

The new video with kids in the Beastie Boys’ starring roles features costumes remarkably similar to the original, but with fun twists including a briefcase filled with Pop Rocks, a dark poker room with the kids betting on Connect 4, and a dramatic jump into a kiddie pool.

I’m not sure who is responsible for this video, but it’s surprisingly well shot and edited. This is not your average kids remake video.

Check it out.
