Gwyneth Invites New Girl’s ‘Schmidt’ to Edit GOOP
Max Greenfield was personally invited by Paltrow to guest edit her famous blog
‘New Girl’ has won the hearts of millions world wide, including ‘The Avengers’ star, Gwyneth Paltrow.
Paltrow reached out to ‘New Girl’ actor, Max Greenfield (who plays the adorable yet somewhat douchy ‘Schmidt’) to invite him to guest edit this week’s newsletter for her popular blog, GOOP.
This past September, I made a discovery that has made my life a better, happier place: the show New Girl, of course! I fell in TV love with Schmidt, played by Max Greenfield, who's the kind of guy you lusted after at your cousin's Bar Mitzvah. I asked him to edit our issue this week. Enjoy. And thank you, Max," Paltrow wrote as a brief introduction to Greenfield on GOOP.
GOOP is a lifestyle blog that gives Paltrow a platform to shares her thoughts, favorite things, tips, and basically anything else she feels like discussing. Greenfield was given that same opportunity, with comic results. Greenfield admits to being a GOOP fan, and expresses gratitude for being given the opportunity to contribute to the site.
“I recently connected with Gwyneth Paltrow and explained to her how much I love goop. Being all that Gwyneth is, she has allowed me to write a piece for the site, which you are now hopefully about to read,” he begins.
Greenfield discusses his family, scrap booking, recipes, and music… but the best part of the posting is ‘Max’s Ten Best’ inspired by Gwyneth’s regular lists of the same name. Greenfield includes his tortoise shell iPhone case, Milk, and self-awareness as a few of his favs.
