Sarah Silverman's Standup Debut on Letterman
Sarah Silverman is a household name today, but in 1997 she was an unknown, up-and-coming comedian looking for her big break, which came on Late Night with David Letterman.

Silverman, known for her potty-mouth routines, ironic deliveries and controversial subject matter, was as tame as you'll ever see her during her debut, but still extremely funny.

Silverman went on to produce and star in The Sarah Silverman Program on Comedy Central, and stared in several movies, television specials and the odd pro-Obama video asking old Jews in Florida to vote.
