Gwyneth Paltrow Drops the N-Word on Twitter
Gwyneth seems to be under some heat after posting ‘niggas’ referring to the Jay-Z song ‘Niggas in Paris’
Have we become a little too politically correct in North America?
GOOP’s Gwyneth Paltrow has become close friends with Beyonce and Jay-Z over the past few years… close enough that the actress was invited to dance on stage while attending Jay-Z & Kanye West’s ‘Watch The Throne’ tour in Paris.
After Paltrow got offstage, she posted a photo on Twitter of herself dancing on stage with Jay-Z, reading “Ni**as in paris for real @mrteriusnash (the dream) tyty, beehigh.”
B.Scott took offense to Paltrow’s tweet, questioning whether or not it was racist.
“Okay or Not? @GwynethPaltrow Tweets The N-Word: (with link to post)”, B.Scott tweeted.
Paltrow quickly responded explaining that she was simply referring to the title of the song ‘Ni**as in Paris’.
“Hold up. It’s the title of the song!,” Paltrow wrote.
Another Twitter user decided to get involved, writing “@GwynethPaltrow@lovebscott Its not the title of the song when you use it to refer to people you know in real life. Don’t play dumb.
What do you think? Was Gwyneth’s tweet racist since she was referring to being on stage with Jay Z in Paris while performing the song ‘Niggas in Paris’?
