The rap star denies allegations of purchasing the watch from a Manhattan jeweler

Drake Rumored to Steal Lawyer’s $300k Watch

James McMillan, a wealthy Manhattan-based lawyer, claims that Young Money star, Drake, has purchased his $300,000 Rolex from a jeweler illegally.

The New York Post reported that McMillan is suing Rafaello & Co., a jeweler in Manhattan, for selling a Rolex that he brought in to be cleaned. The custom watch went missing after McMillan dropped it off at the store. When the lawyer came to retrieve it, the watch was apparently nowhere to be found.

McMillan alleges that he was informed the owner of the establishment liked the watch so much that he had been wearing it himself, and later sold it to Drake.

Drake claims that he doesn’t know anything about the watch in question.

A statement in the Post claims that a source close to Drake insists the rapper “has never heard of this jeweler” and goes on to report that the watch Drake is wearing on the cover of ‘Take Care’ was obtained directly from Rolex.

At this time, McMillan’s watch is still missing.
