MTV Orders Pilot Starring Comedian Esther Povitsky
The young comedian will executive produce the new show.
The name Esther Povitsky might not ring a bell right now, but that could change if her new project resonates with audiences. Deadline reports that MTV has ordered a pilot called Little Esther that stars Povistsky, a young Los Angeles-based comedian.
According to Deadline, the docu-comedy focuses on Povitsky and fellow young comedians living in L.A. The website reports that the 20-something comedian will co-produce the show alongside Scott A. Stone (The Joe Schmo Show) and Rico Martinez (Viva La Bam).
Povitsky is best known for her slew of viral videos in which she pretends to be a school girl and asks inappropriate questions to strangers. She’s also done standup comedy. Check out the video below to catch her in action:
