Sarah Jessica Parker and Victoria Beckham to Create Fashion Line?

Will the two fashionistas join forces for a new line?

Sarah Jessica Parker and Victoria Beckham to Create Fashion Line?
There have been whisperings around the World Wide Web that two icons of style will collaborate on a line of women’s clothing – none other than Carrie Bradshaw (a.k.a. Sarah Jessica Parker) and Posh Spice (Victoria Beckham).

Reports have surfaced, that Parker, 47, and Beckham, 38, had several tête-à-têtes regarding a joint fashion line geared towards women of all ages. Both women have had previous forays into the world of fashion, beyond being mere style icons. Parker launched a discount line called “Bitten”, exclusively with Steve & Barry’s, has released several fragrances, and been the face of several products including Garnier and the Gap.


Beckham, likewise, has been the face of several designers, and released fragrances. In 2008, her high-end fashion line debuted at New York Fashion Week to positive reviews.

Both women have been busy as of late. Parker has been campaigning for Barack Obama’s re-election, co-hosting a fundraiser at her own home with Vogue editor, Anna Wintour. Said soirée racked in a whopping $2 million dollars, but then again, the 50 attendees had to fork over a paltry $40,000 a ticket. Oh, how the quality live.

Beckham will be at a London press conference on June 26, for the launch of The Spice Girls new musical, Viva Forever. Written by estimable British comedian Jennifer Sanders (most notably of Absolutely Fabulous fame), the musical will feature the music of the hit girl group. Viva Forever will debut in London’s West End, in December.

We wait with baited breath to see what frocks and such, these two ladies can produce together.
