Gun N’ Roses Rock ‘Hatikvah’ in Tel Aviv [VIDEO]
The classic rock band played the Israeli National Anthem during their concert
Gun n’ Roses, featuring Axl Rose and a collection of other new members, played a memorable show in Tel Aviv on Tuesday. During their concert, guitarist Ronald Jay Blumenthal, known professionally as Ron “Bumblefoot” Thal, played a shortened solo version of Israeli National Anthem, “Hatikvah”.
Blumenthal, a Jewish American with Lithunian and Polish roots, also played a version of “Hatikvah” in 2011 with Israeli death metal band, Salem.
