James Franco to Star in Artsy Gay Porn

James Franco has taken his hand at acting, writing, music, art curating, photography, and almost everything else that falls under the umbrella of “art” except for porn… until now.

Travis Mathews, the writer/director of sexually explicit gay festival favorite ‘Want Your Love’ has announced an upcoming collaboration with Franco.

“Last week I got an email from James Franco’s agent asking if I’d be interested in collaborating with him on a homo-sex-art-film,” Mathews wrote on his website.

“A day later we were on the phone and a week later we’re in pre-production! We’ll be shooting at the end of July, I’ll be editing in August, and in September it’s going to play in a show in NYC. We’re staying pretty mumsy on the specifics for now, but I can tell you that it’s going to ruffle some feathers. Stay tuned!” he concluded.

James Franco previously created ‘Feast of Stephen’, a homoerotic short film, and directed ‘The Broken Tower’, a biopic of gay poet Hart Crane.

Additionally, Franco has played a gay character in ‘Milk’, ‘Howl’, and an episode of ‘Yo Gabba Gabba’.
