Amy Winehouse Foundation is eBay’s ‘Charity of the Week’

eBay and Amy Winehouse Foundation come together to mark the one-year anniversary of the singer’s death.

Legendary songstress, Amy Winehouse, passed away almost one year ago today. To commemorate her life, The Amy Winehouse Foundation and eBay will join forces from July 22nd-July 29th to raise money for young people suffering from addiction and disabilities.

The singer’s family founded the Amy Winehouse Foundation on September 14th, 2011 to support charitable activities that provide aid and support for young people will addiction issues, disabilities, or illness.

Starting July 22nd at 7pm, the Amy Winehouse Foundation will be taking open donations from eBay members who are placing bids. Some of the items up for auction include pin badges, t-shirts, signed copies of Mitch Winehouse’s book ‘Amy, My Daughter’, and a special ‘Lioness: Hidden Treasures disc frame.
