Gwyneth Paltrow Supports Tracy Anderson's 'Pregnancy Project'

Gwyneth Paltrow is urging new moms to try a new workout routine specifically geared towards pregnant women. And with a post-baby body like hers, we can see that it works!

Fitness guru Tracy Anderson has released the holy grail for most women, her DVD workout regime, “Pregnancy Project.” The DVD is for expecting women, with a different exercise routine every month of pregnancy, making is easy and safe for mamas-to-be to keep in shape while they are pregnant, instead of worrying about it post-baby.

The DVD workouts progress with the mother’s pregnancy, giving nine workouts in nine months. Good nutrition and advice about healthy choices while pregnant are also featured on the DVD, giving women an excellent support system for healthy living during each trimester.

“I think it’s really important for women to have the tools that really work during pregnancy, because pregnancy is difficult enough as it is,” Anderson tells Healthy Hollywood. The fit mother decided to develop the workout regime after announcing her second pregnancy in 2012. She has helped other Hollywood moms, such as Kate Hudson and Molly Sims.

Paltrow, 40, who is also Anderson’s business partner, gushes about her workout DVD. “She’s invented something extraordinary that works really well. That’s why when I first started [The Tracy Anderson] method I thought ‘I have to help bring this to more women.’ Obviously she had helped me through my post pregnancy, and when she was pregnant, I thought, ‘You know women really want a gentle, loving, connective fitness program for each semester.’” With two kids of her own, Paltrow was relieved to find Anderson when it came time to take off the baby weight. “I was like home in sweatpants and breast-feeding for a long time. I really took my time. But when I started to want to get back into shape, I was so thankful to find Tracy.”
