Drake Gets Tattoo of Recently Deceased Jewish Grandmother

‘Take Care’ hip hop superstar, Drake, added to his ever-growing collection of tattoos this past week with a tribute to his recently grandmother and the uncle whom he credits for his success.

Drake’s tattoo artist, Nikki Hurtado, took to Instagram to share images of Drake’s latest tattoo. Placed on the upper right portion of his back, the tattoo depicts a photographic portrayal of his uncle hugging his grandmother.

“Rad experience with @Drake he sat like a champ," Hurtado tweeted, “Late night session @Drake thanks dude it was an honor.”

Drake also has a tattoo of a bird on his left shoulder, an owl on his right shoulder, Aaliyah in the middle of his back, Toronto’s 416 area code on his side, Toronto’s CN Tower on his left bicep, and ‘ALL KINDS’ on his inner right arm.

Drake’s uncle and grandmother are both mentioned in Drake’s heartfelt song, ‘Look What You’ve Done’.

Drake’s grandmother, Evelyn Sher, passed away on Thanksgiving of this year.
