Sarah Jessica Parker Designs Handbag For Charity
The ‘Sex and the City’ star joined forces with Kenneth Cole for amfAR
Fashionista and former ‘Sex and the City’ star, Sarah Jessica Parker, is using her keen eye for design for good, joining forces with Kenneth Cole to create a handbag for charity.
Parker and Cole design the gold-dusted black snakeskin crutch, which will retail for approx. $1,000, with proceeds going towards the American Foundation for AIDS Research (amfAR).
amfAR is hosting a huge gala at the Cipriani Wall Street in New York City on Wednesday, where one of Parker’s handbags will be auctioned off.
"It's been an amazing experience to collaborate with Kenneth Cole on the design of a handbag supporting amfAR. Kenneth has used his platform as a fashion designer for nearly 30 years to advocate for amfAR's mission to end AIDS. I'm thrilled this bag will help raise money and awareness for the 30 million people living with HIV and AIDS," Parker explains.
At the ceremony, Kenneth Cole, Janet Jackson, and Heidi Klum will be honored for their work with amfAR.
