Leonard Cohen, Drake & Justin Bieber Nab Juno Nominations
The 42nd annual awards will air on April 21st.
The Juno Awards, hosted this year by 11-time winner Michael Buble, celebrates the accomplishments of Canadian musicians. On Tuesday, nominations were announced with Leonard Cohen, Drake, Justin Bieber and others receiving multiple nods.
Legendary singer/songwriter, Leonard Cohen, was nominated in three separate categories: Juno Fan Choice Award, Artist of the Year, and Songwriter of the Year.
Toronto-born Drake, who previously hosted the awards show, is competing with Cohen for Juno Fan Choice and is also nominated for Video of the Year for ‘HYFR’.
Justin Bieber, Carly Rae Jepsen, and Deadmau5 are just a few of the other Canadians (who have enjoyed international success) to be recognized by the Juno’s this year.
