Huntington Beach-based trio, Emblem3, might have lost last season’s ‘The X Factor’ competition, but the boys had no problem selling out Los Angeles’ famous Roxy Theatre on Wednesday.

Playing their first concert since finishing in fourth place on ‘The X Factor’, Drew Chadwick and brothers Keaton and Wesley Stromberg, performed a combination of covers and new originals to an audience of screaming teenage girls.

After showcasing a few originals from their upcoming debut studio album, Emblem3 broke into Matisyahu’s “One Day”, a song they consider one of their favorites and remains among the bands most memorable ‘The X Factor’ performances.

The boys also belted out covers of Gavin DeGraw’s “Chariot,” One Republic’s “Secrets,” Sublime’s “Santeria”, and Third Eye Blind’s “Semi-Charmed Life.”

Emblem3 is just about to hit the road, with sold out shows in Pomona and San Diego, and newly announced shows on the East coast in Philadelphia, New York, Boston, and Chicago. Tickets for the East coast dates go on sale this Saturday.

The band’s first single is expected to hit the radio within the next month, but in the meantime check out Emblem3 performing Matisyahu’s ‘One Day’.
