Is One Direction’s Harry Styles Jewish?

One Direction, arguably the world’s most popular boy band at the moment, already has one Jewish member- Liam Payne. Is it possible that the 5-member group has two members of the Tribe?

Listed as Christian on various fan sites, Styles tweeted a Passover message earlier this week to his over 11.5 million followers. In fact, all the One Direction boys are enjoying a full week off work. Could the break be solely due to Passover celebrations?

“Looking forward to seder night. Always get a bit nervous when I have to sing ma’nish ta’na. But do love a schmorreh matzah. Happy pesach c,” the English heartthrob tweeted.

For those unfamiliar with these Hebrew words, Ma’nish Ta’na are the Four Questions sung during Passover (Pesach), traditionally by the youngest child. Matzah is an unleavened bread eaten during Passover, as anything leavened is forbidden according to Jewish law.

Additionally, Styles sent a ‘Happy Purim’ greeting to all his Twitter followers last month AND he has a tattoo with Hebrew letters on his upper arm.

He sounds pretty Jewish to us, so why is he listed as Christian in all unofficial bios? One Direction fans, the floor is yours…
