Israel Announces Contenders for Eurovision Song Contest
The four songs which can potentially be Israel’s entry to the 2010 Eurovision Song Contest have been announced. The contenders are Milim, Le’an (Where to), Elayich (To You) and Lehitkarev (Getting Closer). All songs will be performed by Harel Skaat.
Listeners can decide the winning song by sending text messages. The text votes, along with the choice of a panel of judges that includes the Moshe Datz, Svika Pick and Mira Award, will decide which of the four finalists will be Israel’s official entry.
The annual Eurovision Song Contest will be held in Oslo, Norway this year on May 25, 27 and 29. For more information, visit www.eurovision.tv.
