Cherry Hill Volvo Film Festival Explores Jewish Identity

The fifth annual Cherry Hill Volvo Film Festival in New Jersey takes place Apr. 18-25 and features films from Germany, Israel, France, the United States, and more.

Highlights include the acclaimed documentary Yoo-Hoo Mrs. Goldberg (read our interview with the director here), As Seen Through These Eyes (a documentary about art during the Holocaust), Hello Goodbye (a romantic comedy starring Gérard Depardieu and Fanny Ardant), Fugitive Pieces (based on Canadian author Anne Michaels’ book of the same name), and the intriguingly titled The Fire Within: Jews in the Amazonian Rainforest, which follows a Jewish community in Peru.

The Cherry Hill Volvo Film Festival takes place at the Katz JCC in Cherry Hill, New Jersey. For more information, visit www.katzjcc.org/film-fest.php.
