A Wal-Mart customer in Coral Springs, Florida was dismayed when he learned that Passover food and supplies such as cake mix and soup nuts were not in stock. “These are things people buy two weeks in advance,” said Florida resident Peter Levinson to the Sun Sentinel.

It was later reported that Wal-Mart stores in South Florida and across the United States had a shipping delay. However, Wal-Mart promises that products should be available before the holiday. Passover officially begins on Monday night and Wal-Mart Stores Inc. spokesperson Tara Raddohl said products should be in stock by Friday, March 26.

Three stores in Coral Springs will get their hands on products such as matzo, candles and candies. “We chose communities where we knew our customers will want to see Passover merchandise,” Raddohl told the Sun Sentinel. “We're working hard to get the merchandise there as quickly as we can.”
