Daniel Radcliffe Repays His Debt to Irish Football Team Two Years Later

Daniel Radcliffe is a man of his word. Two years ago, the star of the Harry Potter films was in Dublin and somehow ended up at a house party with the Dublin Minor Football team, as they were celebrating their victory after winning the All Ireland title.

As the night concluded, Radcliffe found himself without cab fare, and so members of the football team helped him out by generously paying for his ride home.

Fast forward two years later and Radcliffe once again finds himself meeting up with the same team and, like a true gentleman, he pays them back all the money he owes them. The money came with a rather touching note, thanking the team for helping him out that night.

Former Dublin minor centre-back, Conor Mullally posted a picture of the letter on Twitter, with €50 attached.

“So, thanks again for paying for my cab”, the letter reads. “I couldn’t live with myself if I didn’t honour my word and pay you back. Once again, great meeting you all. Hope this covers it.”

What a guy!
