Dieudonne Mocks the Holocaust (Again) and Jewish Murder Victims in New Show

The anti-Semitic French comedian who popularized the ‘quenelle’ gesture is at it again

The last we had heard about Dieudonne was when he was banned from performing his show in Nantes, which was succeeded by several other European countries banning his comedic shows as well, his most recent one titled ‘the Anti-Semite.’

“If I knock down a Jewish journalist, it will be serious thing,” Dieudonne reportedly said. “They will reopen the Nuremberg trials. They will even exhume Ilan Halimi. They’re going to find my DNA in his asshole.”

In France, Ilan Halimi remains a sensitive subject, as he is a symbol of the anti-Semitism that has plagued the nation since the second Palestinian intifada.

When Dieudonne’s last shows were cancelled, France politician Manuel Valls called out the comedian and his ‘quenelle’ gesture. “The gesture is a gesture of hatred, it’s an anti-Semitic gesture and all those who perform it should know – they can’t deny the knowledge – that they are performing an anti-Semitic gesture,” the politician had said.

Hopefully Valls will able to use his influence to ban this new show as well, before it even starts.
