2014 might be the biggest year for Canadian rap star, Drake, to date. In fact, this week might be the most exciting of his career.

After discovering that his third album ‘Nothing Was The Same’ made the shortlist for the Polaris Music Prize and releasing a new single entitled ‘PARTYNEXTDOOR’, the ‘Started From The Bottom’ singer also announced a fourth studio album. Oh yah, he’s also hosting the ESPY’s tomorrow evening.

Billboard announced on Tuesday that Drake’s upcoming album will be called ‘Views From the 6’. While he choose not to share details about dates or song inclusion, fans are already speculating the meaning behind the album title.

Many believe “the 6” refers to Toronto’s 416 area code. Drake is a proud Torontonian, having 416 inked on his body and referring his hometown in many popular songs.

Earlier this year, fans were duped into believing a couple billboards with the number 6 accompanied by Drake’s OVO owl were a promotion for an EP entitled ‘Days in the East’. The billboards ended up being fake, but fans continue to believe “the 6” is Toronto.
