Drake is not only an internationally acclaimed rapper and hip hop star, he is also an avid advocate of his hometown, Toronto.

In addition to recording most of his music in the Toronto area, name dropping the TDot in a few of his songs, having a 416 area code tattoo, and recently becoming the Toronto Raptors global ambassador, Drake also puts on one of the most hotly anticipated music events of the year; OVO Fest.

On Tuesday, it was announced that this year’s festival will see a reunited Outkast headlining the first night. Drake will be headlining the second night. Remaining lineups have yet to be announced, but it’s safe to assume that both days will be chalk-full of hip hop’s biggest and brightest.

Drake also has a tendency of surprising audiences with unscheduled performers that are more popular than the announced guests. Previous unscheduled artists include Kanye West, Lil Wayne, Ma$e, P. Diddy, Big Sean, the Weeknd and A$AP Rocky.

OVO Fest will be held August 3rd and 4th. Tickets go on sale February 21st.
