The Azrieli Foundation was established in 1989 to realize the philanthropic vision of founder, David J. Azrieli.
The Foundation supports a wide-spectrum of initiatives in the areas of education, Jewish communal life, architecture, science and medicine, the arts, and research, education and commemoration of the Shoah. Among the many programs and initiatives supported or established by the Azrieli Foundation: The Azrieli Fellows Program, the Holocaust Survivor Memoirs Publishing Program; the Azrieli Institute for Educational Empowerment; the Azrieli Graduate School of Jewish Education and Administration at Yeshiva University; the Azrieli Institute for Graduate Studies and Research in Architecture at Carleton University, the Azrieli Lecture Series in Architecture at McGill Univesity, the Azrieli Holocaust Collection at Concordia University Library.
