That didn't take long.

The New York-based firm RustyBrick Inc. has been known for developing Jewish apps, bringing 21st century observance to religious Jews around the world.

Led by brothers Barry and Ronnie Schwartz, the company has put out a number of Jewish-themed apps including an iPhone Siddur, iPhone Tanach, a Shofar app and even a Shabbat app that provides candle-lighting times and other such successful apps. Their Shofar app, specifically, was downloaded by the thousands just in time for Rosh Hashanah last year.

Now the successful modern Orthodox tech entrepreneurs have come up with their latest app, their first for Google Glass: JewGlass.

JewGlass will deliver, straight to your eye, customized Jewish-pertinent information, including sunset times, directions to nearby synagogues and Jewish institutions, Jewish learning, Torah portions, and even translate Hebrew.

The Schwartz brothers claim the app will be the first of many to come out for the new device by Google.

RustyBrick, founded in 1994 in New York, has focused specifically on hightech and smartphone products over the past few years, making life a bit easier for the average orthodox Jew.

“Anything we find useful that we want in our phone, we’ll develop,” Barry Schwartz said.

The development is not the first Jewish-helmed interpretation of Google Glass; Jewish pornstar James Deen recently put out a porno, the first ever to be shot with Google Glass, dubbed I'd Tap That Glass.
