Google VS. Mercedes [VIDEO]
Watch the Google street car take on a Mercedes Benz SLS AMG Black Series in a drag race
It's a battle for the ages.
For decades now, the age-old riddle of who would conquer in an all-out race, the Google streetcar, or a Mercedes Benz SLS AMG Black Series, has finally been answered, and you'll be shocked by the result.
Or, well, not really.
In an episode of British television program Top Gear, the high-tech mobile (a Toyota Prius to be exact) squared off against the beautifully designed Merc, and got its proverbial tuchas handed to it.
Guess you can't compete with a car that has 631 horsepower, and a top speed of 196 miles per hour (315 km), with a search engine, even if it is the most revered of its class.
The Google streetcar can take much better photos though, and can catch the experience of the Benz racing by it, and spinning donuts around it and...you get the idea.
To take a digital race yourself, check out Google Maps and type in "Top Gear Test Track" and move the infamous yellow man onto the map. Or if you're too lazy, check out the video of the race below.
